If you want to add content via the Touchpad, click the Add button in the top of the application and select the Add choice from the dropdown menu. This exposes the Touchpad.

There are three (3) common scenarios when it makes sense to add content from the Touchpad. They are:

  1. If you want to provide additional information about the piece of content, prior to uploading it. This additional information may include: a Preview Image, Description, Tags and Badges. This information can always be added later on; for more information about editing a piece of content, check out the View/Interact section of the Knowledgebase.
  2. If you wish to create a Note, Link, Organization, Person, or Project. For more information about editing a piece of content, check out the Getting Started section of the Knowledgebase.
  3. If you want to create a new file in one of your connected cloud accounts via Shelf. For more information about editing a piece of content, check out the Integrations section of the Knowledgebase.
