Shelf have 3 different ways to view content that appears on your Wall. They are:

Card - This view emphasizes the thumbnail image associated with each Gem - this is a great view for visual learners.

Snippet - This view provides additional information - namely the description - in the event that you wish to see more information about the Gem before clicking on it.

List - This view condenses the number of Gems that can be seen on the screen which is ideal for times when you want to scroll through larger amounts of content.

Regardless of the View you’re in, any Folders will be displayed first.

Each user has the ability to change their Wall view at any time by clicking on the various View icons, found in the upper right hand portion of the application, just below your avatar.
